Reviewer: Andy Hodgson from Warrington I have to say, I wasn't expecting much from Froot Loops.
This was my second time using Candypirate (which is a great site!) and I decided to be a bit adventurous in my purchases and have a bit of an indepth look around. So I came and discovered the bargain basket, where perfectly good items are available to buy for a reduced price.
What do I find there then? A few bars and sweets here and there and I come across a breakfast cereal! Now Lucky Charms wasn't there, neither was it in stock, so it looked like this time I'd have to settle for something else, and in the basket went Froot Loops - Smoothie.
Now, I wasn't expecting much from Froot Loops. I'd seen them before on the site and gazed at them for a bit but turned them down. The idea of a kids cereal that had fruit flavours was a bit of a concoction in my eyes. But nevertheless, they looked fun, so I bought 'em.
A few days later and they arrive.
So I hastily open the box, tear open the plastic bag and take a whiff...
It's stunk...(and this wasn't due to the fact it was nearing it's best before date I'm sure.) Quite overwhelming to say the least.
It's indescribable, but unless you're five years old it isn't the nicest of smells.
What did catch my eye however was the cute appearance.
So many colours! But so sickly sweet.
I observed one of the little loops and it sure was sugar coated...there was even webbed sugar in the holey center...a bit of a put off.
The taste test was as expected. Very sugary, and I have one hell of a sweet tooth, I can usually eat bags of chocolate sweets and come out it alive, but this was too much!
With milk though, it isn't TOO bad, it gets diluted but still, you won't be finishing it in a hurry.
So there you have it, my Froot Loops experience.
It's extremely negative but it just wasn't for me.
Kids might like it, but I won't be buying it again.

Reviewer: Dave from Hull I love Froot Loops and was excited to see these and the marshmallow cereals. I think I must be a kid at heart as the colours and taste and sweetness are why I love froot loops so much. The youghurty pieces add a bit of something extra to these so are well worth a try. Overall I still love Froot Loops and these are a nice alternative!
